YDI is a nonprofit faith based ministry founded in 1959 in Hell’s Kitchen, Harlem, New York. YDI relies on God’s grace and favor with God and man to grow annually. It is our sincere prayer that you will experience the Love of Jesus in your life during your stay with us. It could be that your youth group, school, worship team or other youth organization will witness the salvation (Rescue) of kids you bring to us.

Perhaps you are a pastor “plum tuckered out” in need of being refreshed. Welcome home – our Upper Cabin awaits! Do you and your wife, family or team need a place to get away and be restored for the battle that awaits? Then, “Be still and know that I am God”, may apply to you.

Head Waters Lodge is located in the wilderness of Highland County Virginia on 240 beautiful acres and is the perfect place for your group to come away and draw near to Him. We offer an extensive ropes course and team building activities, hiking, caving, fishing and more. During your time here, we pray that you will be Rescued, Refreshed and Restored in Jesus.
